 Viennese Dutch Girl Sculpture

Cabinet Bronze
Signed Victor Heinrich Seifert

One of V. Siefert's well known works is this charming bronze statue of a Dutch Girl on marble plinth, signed on back.  There are some listed elsewhere of the girl without the base, rare to find this one intact.  It has a price tag from the shop I purchased it from years ago dating it to about 1910.

Victor Heinrich Seifert was an affluent and productive bronze artist during the early 20th Century. He was born in Vienna in 1870 and was active in Germany until his death in Berlin, 1953. A pupil of d?E. Herter, L. Manzel and P. Breuer, he was a sculptor of statues, monuments and military subjects.
