For your consideration is a blue transferware rimmed bowl. It features an interesting design. 

In the center section of the plate is a bow hunter chasing Leopards.

  The border features various flowers. 

The bowl is 9.25" rim to rim. It is 1 3/4" high.

This piece is in the Aurora Ceylon collection. The pieces in this collection are made by hand with fine earthenware in Spain.

Ceylon transports us to the traditions and landscapes of an island in the Indian Ocean. Its exotic fauna and flora set the tone of the scene framed by a fretwork that combines moldings and Asian roses. The oriental influence in ceramic designs is more than palpable in this model.
