Rare A/O 1934 22" Shirley
Description:
This is a very hard-to-find and
absolutely genuine vintage 22" Composition Shirley Temple doll by Ideal,
dressed in her original outfit from the movie "Stand Up and Cheer."
She is made entirely of light-complexion composition, featuring sleeping hazel eyes with real eyelashes and an original blonde mohair wig in its original style.
The doll is wearing her factory-original attire, which includes a blue polka-dot organdy dress with blue silk ribbons, a white-trimmed combination slip/undies, and original beige oilcloth center-snap shoes.
The back of head is stamped
"Shirley Temple // COP // Ideal // N.&T.Co.” and her back is stamped “Shirley Temple” with
IDEAL in a diamond below it.

The doll is all complete with original finish and shows generalized crazing. Her
eyes open and close easily; however, they are somewhat cloudy and yellowed,
with retouched pupils (please refer to picture #3). The dress is somewhat
soiled and tattered, with visible oxidation stains on the back. She requires
restringing. Otherwise, she is in fine to very fine overall condition. SOLD
