Protect Commercial StepsThe Coin-Grip (Grit Surface) step mats are designed to provide complete protection for the entire step and are specially designed to fit larger commercial steps. These rubber step mats are larger than standard stair treads, measuring 10 inches wide and 36 inches long to cover the surface of most commercial or industrial steps. In addition, each tread is equipped with a 1.6-inch lip that is designed to provide anti-slip coverage that extends to the edge of each step. |
Permanent and Temporary InstallationOur Coin-Grip (Grit Surface) step mats are easy to install with or without the use of adhesives. Outdoor commercial steps are often exposed to environmental factors, making the use of a permanent glue adhesive highly beneficial; however, since indoor steps will most likely receive limited exposure to outdoor conditions, they can easily be placed on each step without the use of adhesives. |

About "Grit" Texture
The grit texture found on the surface of each protrusion are put in place to help improve the overall non-slip properties of the step mats. This course surface texture is made up of extremely hard grains, called emery, that is a non-toxic mineral made up of aluminum oxide and various trace impurities. Due to its course nature, it is often used for abrasives polishing and non-skid concrete; however, these step mats are coated with an abrasive grit texture to further reduce the chance of slipping.

Reclaimed rubber is a highly resilient rubber variation that is able to withstand harsh outdoor conditions. Made of post-consumer tire rubber, reclaimed rubber is inherently resistant to UV rays, ozone, moisture, abrasions, and heavy impacts.
