Item Description An antique brass sad iron. This is a slug or box iron that would have had a heated iron slug inserted to warm the iron. In overall fair condition. Wood handle shows some mild wearbut is solid. All else seems OK, no slug is included. Measures about 4-3/4" long & 2-1/4" tall not including the handle, no apparent makers mark. We sell mostly USED and UNIQUE items. Expect minor evidence of use or imperfections, dings etc. from age. We take many photos of our items to assist with the description.
