This listing is for the cable and the microphone for most generic Android based stereos 

Please check with your supplier if your stereo will support the external microphone.
The microphone should be placed on the roof near the driver - not on the pillar and so the cable may need to be extended.

All Android units will suffer with microphone issues.. this microphone may lessen the issues.
Other factors may be background noise in the car, volume of the speakers or the unit itself.

There are programs available from the Google Playstore which may also help with the microphone volume level and some stereos may also have gain controls but this is normally only in the top end models.
