š Place the ring onto the stepped collet mandrel at the size that fits it.
š§ Position the expansion collet onto the base.
āļø Insert the tapered steel pin into the collet.
šØ Gently tap the pin with a mallet or hammer using light impact only.
š Check the ring size regularly and stop when the desired size is reached.
The mandrel can be removed by gently tapping the opposite end as described.
Do not use this tool on stone-set rings.
Avoid rings with thin or delicate shanks.
Inspect the ring for solder joints or weak areas before stretching.
Excessive force or stretching may cause the ring to crack or break.
Some rings may require annealing by a qualified jeweller before expansion.
