Heavy and thick pages, red cloth backing, 10 x 12 inches, color illustrated cover. Light wear to edges and more to the extremities of book, chip and crease to rear cover lower corner, overall some age discoloration and soiling to the covers. Well bound, tight copy. Stiff linen like pages with some soiling.  Twelve color pages, the book begins and ends on the backsides of the covers. "Linenette" Number 869. I believe this book book was previously published in 1939 and this is a 1948 revised edition with new illustrations by the publisher. The illustrator's name is not given. In this edition Goldilocks is called "Goldenlocks." Good. Hardcover.
