• This unit is the Windows CE version with wi-fi wireless radio, 1D Scanner and 6-key keyboard.  This is not the Windows Mobile (Pocket PC) version.  If your application requires Pocket PC or Windows Mobile, please see our other listings or contact us for availability.
• The terminal is in excellent working condition. The terminal is in excellent cosmetic condition with very few signs of previous use. The screen is in excellent condition with only minor imperfections.  The rear of the PPT8846 is in great shape. The holder for the stylus securely holds the stylus in, and the handstrap is in good condition.
• With its built-in IEEE802.11b compliant wireless Networking card, the PPT8846 can connect to wi-fi networks at full 11mpbs data transfer rate, anywhere a wi-fi signal is available.  It can also browse the internet with its built-in Internet Explore web browser
• The terminal comes complete with battery, stylus, handstrap, leather case, Serial communications/charging cable, and power supply.  
• The only software included with the sale is what comes factory installed by Symbol on the terminal. This includes "scanwedge.exe" which allows the terminal to scan a barcode into any application.

We have thoroughly tested the PDA and have verified that the terminal powers on, boots up normally, passes all self tests, scan barcodes, communicates and charges through the bottom port, and connects to a wi-fi network.  One  battery is included in the sale. The battery is used but it charges up and holds a charge for an extended period of time, so it should give good service. The seller will replace the battery if not completely satisfied.
