• This unit is the wireless version with Windows Mobile 2003 Operating System (Pocket PC 2003 Premium), 1D Barcode Scanner and 15-key keyboard.  This is not the Windows CE version.  If your application requires Windows CE, please see our other listings or contact us for availability.  The Model and part number is PPT8846-R3BZ10WW.  This is functionally equivalent to Model number PPT8846-R3BZ10WWR except that model is built with the newer lead-free manufacturing process (RoHS compliance)
• The terminal is in perfect working condition. The terminal is in very good cosmetic condition with minor signs of previous use. The screen is in very good condition with few imperfections.  The rear of the PPT8846 is in great shape.  The holder for the stylus securely holds the stylus in, and the handstrap is in good condition.
• The terminal comes complete with battery, stylus, handstrap, leather case, serial communications/charging cable, and power supply.  
• The only software included with the sale is what comes factory installed by Symbol on the terminal. This includes "scanwedge.exe" which allows the terminal to scan a barcode into any application.  It also includes things like Pocket Word, Pocket Excel, etc. which, along with the scanwedge.exe application, would allow you to start collecting barcode data right out of the box.
• We also stock accessories for the PPT8800-series computers.  Please see our other listings for Magnetic Stripe Readers (MSR's), single-slot serial cradles, 4-slot serial cradles, and 4-slot ethernet cradles.  If you need a USB charging cup and adaptor cable to go with this, these are available and you can substitute the USB connector for the serial charging cable shown for an additional $50 charge.

We have thoroughly tested the PDA and have verified that the terminal powers on, boots up normally, passes all self tests, scans barcodes, communicates and charges through the bottom port, and associates with a wireless access point.  One  battery is included in the sale.  The battery is used but it charges up and holds a charge for an extended period of time, so it should give good service. The seller will replace the battery if not completely satisfied.  We will provide a 90-day warranty on this item.
