This listing is for a NEW REPLACEMENT A/C expansion valve for all 1963-67 Chevrolet Corvette & 1962-64 Cadillac with factory air-conditioning.
This has the correct "J" sensing bulb that will enable for proper installation on the evaporator tube, which is necessary to properly connect to the evaporator suction tube for proper function. THE ORIGINAL SPECIALIZED CLIP FOR THE SENSING BULB WILL NEED TO BE REUSED. IT IS NOT INCLUDED IN THIS LISTING. *** Function is identical to the original Frigidaire valve (for use with both R12 & 134a refrigerants) but the size is slightly different so the clamp that attaches the valve to the evaporator case bracket will be too large. Not for 100 point judged cars.
