We are please to present this charming set of 6 handpainted fabric panels featuring cartoons of a couple in stereotypical Dutch garb. Certainly vintage, possibly antique. Each vignette - whether showing the pair hiding from a rabbit or sheltering under a huge umbrella, has something about it to bring a smile to the face. The synthetic fabric is fringed to each edge and appears sturdy.
A perfect collection just crying out to be framed - ideal to add some whimsy to your gallery wall.
See all photos for measurements (inches) and details of condition. Approx 5.75" square each. The painting quality is variable, though believed to be by the same amateur artist. The colours have lasted well. Each square has some age spotting, but these do not detract.
