LADIES WATHAM RECTANGULAR WRISTWATCH
ANOTHER LOCAL ESTATE PURCHASE, THIS FINE OLD TIMEPIECE IS NICE BUT IN NEED OF RESTORATION. IT IS CURRENTLY WOUND TIGHT AND NOT RUNNING. BALANCE WHEEL DOES SWING SMOOTHLY. CRYSTAL IS MISSING.
CASE MARKED "WADSWORTH QUALITY 14K GOLD FILLED". OUTER MEASUREMENTS ARE 31 X 18 X 6.39 MM. FANCY PATTERN ON BEZEL AND EDGES.
MOVEMENT MARKED "WALTHAM U.S.A" AND "15 JEWELS" WITH SERIAL NUMBER 26411885 WHICH DATES THIS TO 1928. LISTS AS SIZE 7.25L. BOTH HANDS ARE PRESENT (TOOK PHOTO WHEN 1 WAS ON TOP OF THE OTHER).
HAS NICE BLACK CLOTH BAND WITH TIPS MARKED "14K" ON EACH END AND MEASURES APPROX. 5 1/2" AROUND INSIDE. (WE ESTIMATE THESE 14K ENDS HAVE AT LEAST $50.00 WITH OF GOLD VALUE ALONE).
