Granuflex dressing is a self-adhesive dressing intended for the treatment of wound wounds with low to moderate exudate.

GranuFLEX dressings are modern hydrocolloid dressings for use in low to moderate wounds. They are universal, easy to use and suitable for use in wounds at various stages of healing. They are highly susceptible to forming - they can be easily and lightly shaped to a given place. The dressing stimulates granulation and facilitates autolytic cleansing of the wound. Autolytic wound cleansing removes necrotic tissue at the same rate as enzymatic wound cleansing.

Size: 10 cm x 10 cm - 1 pcs.

The hydrocolloid dressings from the Granuflex® family create a moist wound healing environment. They are soft and flexible, thanks to which they adapt to the shape of the wound and adhere to it like a second skin.

They are made of a unique combination of three hydrocolloids suspended in a polymer matrix: carboxymethylcellulose, pectin and gelatin. In contact with the liquid they form a soft gel on the wound surface, which provides the optimal healing environment as well as relieves pain. It absorbs exudate and provides a skin-like pH.

Granuflex® dressings, thanks to their unique construction, provide a number of benefits:

They accelerate healing by creating an optimal, moist environment in the wound

Reduce discomfort associated with pain - in contact with exudate form a gel that maintains in a humid environment nerve endings

Easy to use, they can stay on the wound for up to 7 days

Less pain when changing the dressing - they do not stick to the wound, they can be easily removed

Gentle to the skin, durable - even in difficult to dress places

Waterproof - they protect the wound even in the shower

They facilitate cleansing the wound - they soften sick tissue.

What is worth knowing?

After the first dressing change, the wound may look deeper and larger. This is a correct phenomenon resulting from the mechanism of the dressing. Granuflex® dressing softens and removes unhealthy tissue.

When changing the dressing, a specific smell may appear, which means that the dressing reacts with the wound exudate, supporting the healing process. The smell disappears after cleansing the wound. The severity of the smell will decrease over time.

A gel with a yellowish color is formed under the dressing. This is the result of the absorption of exudate from the wound, it should not be equated with purulent discharge or infection.

Granuflex® is a self-adhesive hydrocolloid dressing. The composition of three hydrocolloids suspended in a polymer matrix (sodium carboxymethylcellulose, pectin, gelatin) provides the uniqueness of this dressing among all hydrocolloid dressings. Providing an appropriate, moist wound treatment environment, it also absorbs excess exudate. Has a very wide range of applications. It is intended for the treatment of both chronic wounds and acute wounds. It can be used at all stages of wound healing, provided that they do not show signs of infection. It is an ideal dressing in wounds at the cleansing, granulation and epidermal stages. It is produced in various shapes and sizes, which makes it easier to provide hard to reach parts of the body.
