After receiving countless requests in 2019 for a cup holder that could actually work on the Porsche 986 Boxster & 996 Carrera, our design and development team went to work on a solution. AutoRacingTechnik now has a Porsche worthy cup holder that satisfies both form and function in the Porsche cabin.
Early 986 & 996 Porsche's were delivered without cup holders, but even owners with the later factory optioned cup holders in these models have been disappointed with what they got. Lack of stability, vibration issues, inability to hold drink containers of more than 300g in weight etc were some common complaints.
