This large vintage silver plate and gilt chalice is in good condition. There are a few blemishes to the silver plate which may polish out. There is a large design stamped to look like grapes and leaves around the rim. There is also a big coat of arms in the middle of the face. The coat of arms is unknown. The maker's stamp inside the base shows this chalice was produced by Corbell and Company.
Corbell and Company was established in London in 1946 before moving to Los Angeles in 1951. Over the years it expanded its activity throughout the USA. The company was purchased by Howard White who moved to the USA from England in 2001. (Based on a description from "peabodyantiques" on Etsy.)
