Why you need it?
- Most of early fords with premium OEM amplified systems turn on the amp with 5 volts instead of the 12v by aftermarket radio, So 12 volts overloaded cause the loud pop. Worst is base is distorted, also it could eventually blow out the system. That is why you need the RED WOLF Step Down switcher.
