United Cutlery - Shikoto Katana master bluish green Longquan forged with hammer
When you hold a Longquan Master sword forged with a Shikoto hammer in your hand, you’re holding the same weapon that a warrior used more than 2500 years ago. Using methods used by Bronze Age blacksmiths, the 1060 high carbon steel blade has been hammer-forged and tempered with clay to produce a visible hamon line. Differential hardening gives this magnificent sword a harder edge and a softer column, which is the hallmark of a high-quality weapon. The tsuba and handle accessories are made of solid brass and the wooden handle has a traditional drawstring wrap on a genuine tea-dyed ray skin.
A black-polished, lacquered wood sheath with drawstring wrap houses the blade. Also included with the Shikoto Longquan Master Teal Katana is a certificate of authenticity with forge specifications, signed by the master blacksmith who produced the sheet.
