Bushido, or «Warrior’s Way,» defines the code of conduct to be followed by an honorable samurai, and the Hanwei Bushido Tanto is designed to perpetuate this tradition.

The Blade of the Bushido Tanto is hand-forged and bent in K120C powder steel. The saya is deeply lacquered with inlaid brass cherry blossoms (sakura).

The tsuka del tanto is made of gold-plated brass with embossed décor. Sageo is woven with premium Japanese cotton. Kojiri, koiguchi and kurikata are made of polished buffalo horn. The habaki is a brass construction in one piece.
