20x Butternut Squash Waltham Seeds
The waltham variety of butternut squash yields lovely goldern-coloured fruits. Each plant has about 4 fruits, each of which can weigh up to 2 kg.
Growing instructions:
Sow seeds from April to May in a pot or tray of damp seed compost 1 cm deep. Once the seedlings have geminated, transplant the seedlings into pots when they have around two-thirds of their leaves and continue to grow for a few more weeks. Put them outside for 3/4 days throughout the day to acclimatise them. When there is no longer a possibility of frost, plant in mid- to late-May, spacing rows 50 cm apart and planting every 50 cm. Provide a lot of organic matters to nourish the plant and aid with water absorption. Keep the plant well-hydrated. Harvest from September to October.
We have a large range of vegetable seeds in stock and we offer a 20% discount if you purchase 4 or more seeds (can be the same or different seed varieties) in one order which is automatically applied during checkout.
