(The Original Broadway production opened May 17th, 1946 at the Imperial Theatre in New York City and ran for 1147 performances. The Australian production opened July 19th, 1947 and became one of Australia's longest running shows, playing 10 months in Melbourne before moving to the Theatre Royal in Sydney for an additional 12 months.) .....
