    Removal of Prop Propellers

     

    • 1. Place the shift control in the forward position to lock the propeller shafts.

     

    • 2. Remove the rear propeller nut.

     

    • 3. Remove the rear propeller .

     

    • 4. Place the shift control in the reverse position to lock the forward propeller.

     

    • 5. Remove the forward propeller nut .

     

    • 6. Remove the forward propeller.

     

    lnstallation of Prop Propellers

     

    • 1. Apply a light coating to the propeller shaft splines using propeller shaft grease.

     

    • 2. Place the shift control in the forward position to lock the propeller shafts.

     

    • 3. Install the forward propeller.

     

    • 4. Install the forward propeller nut and tighten approximately to 45 ft. lbs.(60 N-m).

     

    • 5. Place the shift control in the reverse position to lock the propeller shafts.

     

    • 5. Install the rear propeller.

     

    • 6. Install the rear propeller nut and tighten to 50ft. lbs. (70 N-m).
