Vintage F Balladares B Mexico Sterling Turquoise Pin/Necklace Free Shipping.

This is a lovely and comfortable Mexican silver necklace by Taxco artist F BalladaresB who was influenced by William Spratling. It is clearly marked and signed on the back. The total length of the necklace is 16” long including the pendant, the pendant measures 2.5” across and top to bottom. It has actually two layers of silver, the top of which has cut out designs surrounding the 1” by 1” turquoise stone. The stone is in a smooth bezel with twisted wire wrapped around it edges. The bottom layer of silver is the back, which contains the pin clasp and chain loop and signature. These two layers are slightly curved which adds substance to the piece and also looks a bit like a satellite if you hold it up by the edge. This piece has a joyous feel to it!
