PROCOLOR SANDED TILE GROUT Description ProSpec® ProColor Grout is a portland cement based blend providing strong, color consistent, water resistant joints. It can be used with ceramic tile to fill grout joints 1/16" to 1/2" wide for interior or exterior, wall or floor applications. ProSpec ProColor Grout features Micro Defense Technology® to inhibit the growth of mold and mildew. Preparation Prior to grouting, the tile must be firmly set and the setting material cured in accord with the manufactures specifications. All paper and glue must be removed from the face of the mounted tiles. Grout joint must be free of excess setting materials, and job site debris. To insure a uniform color, grouting should not begin until the tile setting material is properly cured (a minimum of 24 hours). Some tiles such as rough, irregular, unglazed, porous surfaces are prone to staining and may require a grout release or sealer prior to application. If in doubt as to the suitability of a certain tile conduct a test to determine if the grout can be completely cleaned from the tile surface. A pre-grout sealer may be required. NOTE: It is the responsibility of the installer/applicator to ensure the suitability of the product for its intended use.
