Removal & Installation:
1.Set steering to straight ahead.
2.Raise vehicle.
3.Remove the applicable front wheel.
4.Disconnect the electrical connection from the top of the strut by pressing in on the two tabs and pulling upwards.
5.Loosen and remove the air line from the top of the strut.
6.Remove the air line fitting. To do so, spread the collet open and the remaining fitting will slide off of the air hose.
7.Loosen and remove the top mounting nuts.
8.Loosen and remove the sensor wire and brake line bracket.
9.Locate and remove the upper control arm ball joint nut. Seperate the ball joint from the spindle assembly.
10.Loosen and remove the lower strut mounting bolt.
11.Remove the sensor wire bracket and seperate the end link from the lower strut clevis.
12.Loosen the strut clevis.
13.Pull the spindle assembly outward and remove the strut.
14.Removal complete.
15.Installation is in reverse order of air spring removal, with the exception of the Secured reservoir hose.

What should I do if the air suspension Strut leaks, seeps, burst？
You can replace the old air valve assembly from the original air suspension strut with ours. The air valve has a retaining pin; the air hose must be secured by the retaining pin to prevent it from falling out. If the retaining pin is not secured, it will cause leaks or the air hose will fall out. The air valve connection is threaded, which may cause leaks. We recommend reconnecting the air circuit.
What if the air suspension strut won't lower after installation?
It's necessary to confirm whether the height cannot be lowered to the same level on both sides, or if one side is higher than the other. If both sides are balanced, there's no problem. Before replacement, the old air suspension strut had been used for a long time, and their damping force decreased. Therefore, the new air suspension strut would be slightly higher than the old ones. After prolonged use, the damping of the air suspension strut will decrease, and the height will naturally decrease. For example, the original design might lower the height slightly after parking for more than 4 or 6 hours, then lower it again after another 4 or 6 hours, lowering it three times until it reaches a low point and remains stationary.
Which side of my car is the Right and Left?
The right and left sides of an automobile are determined as if sitting in the car facing forward. Thus, the left side is on the left when sitting in the car facing forward, and the right side is on the right. For American cars, the driver’s side is on the left, and the passenger sits to the right of the driver. For cars in Japan, Britain, Ireland, the Bahamas and some other former British colonies -- where they drive on the left side of the road -- the passenger sits on the left side, and the driver (along with all the driving controls) is on the right.
What is the difference between an air spring and an air strut?
The air spring is a part of the air strut. Some vehicles , allow you to change the air spring separately. In this case the whole air strut should be replaced.
