This type of workmanship is attributed to Wang Bing Rong and is often found with a signature as often as not without a signature.


The storage jar, or spice jar, or commonly known as a 'ginger' jar, features applied features. They include crane and lily pads in various stages of development (pods, pads, in full bloom, etc.).


The most common background coloration is a blueish green. This one is distinctively a rich, deep, shade of green. The applied features are crisp and deep. Very good detail. This piece is in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs. Lid is intact and present!
