This is a rare, highly collectable vintage "The Laurel Original Designs Shetland Pony" in the original stable box with the original tags attached.   There is an authentic leather harness on it.  The size is approximately 12" long and 8" tall.  This was owned by a collector and has never been played with.  The pony was handmade in England 35 years ago and is very rare, especially since it comes with the original tags and cardboard stable in good condition.  It was one of the very first made by the artist and only a few of these were sold to one catalogue in the U.S.  It was listed and bought from the prestigious magazine Eximious.  This is the most typical Shetland color of brown and sand. The pony was honored with the British Toymaker Guild Award for Excellence.  The surface fabric is washable, and it has an acrylic filling. There are some fold marks on the gates of the box.  Please see last picture.
