Usage Instructions: Type: Coloured water-based acrylic varnish. Gives long lasting protection to all external wood, allowing the natural grain to show through. Intended Use: Exterior joinery both hard & softwood, doors, windows, garden furniture, conservatories. May also be used as a sealer for concrete Special Features: Low odour, resists cracking, peeling, blistering. Wash brushes in water.
Preparation: Surfaces must be clean, dry and free of wax, grease and contaminants, smooth and sound. Fill large cracks, open joints and damaged areas with a high quality flexible filler. Wash oily woods, knots or resinous areas with white spirit. Remove mould, lichens, algae & moss with brush, scraper & domestic bleach, then rinse thoroughly and allow to dry. Compatibility: May be applied over old existing coating if these are in good condition and rubbed down to provide a key.
Application: Using a synthetic brush, apply liberally with a full brush finishing with the grain. The first coat may be diluted with water on hot days (up to 15%). Settlement: STIR WELL BEFORE USE. May dry glossy if not adequately stirred.
