When brewed, this tea produces a bright reddish colored tea with a distinctive muscatel character.  The fragrance and taste will reach right out of the cup.  Some would describe the taste as nutty; others find it reminds them of black currants, but most often it is described as similar to the taste and fragrance of muscatel grapes. We really love the flavor of this tea.  It is enjoyed morning, noon, and night, for us.  It is a very pleasant and relaxing tea, yet full of intense flavor.
