Lettres de Ciceron a Atticus
Publisher: Florentin Delaulne, Paris, 1714. 2 volumes bound in full contemporary leather. Volumes 5 and 6 only, good condition, spines worn with some small losses to head, hinges cracking, but the bindings are still tight. Both volumes have the bookplates of Thomas Falconer of Chester on their endpapers. Falconer was a classicist and antiquarian. The text blocks have occasional toned pages but are otherwise clean. Text in Latin on the left hand page and French on the right, with 'Remarques' in French. Volume 5, 694 pages, Volume 6, 583 pages, 17cm, 6.75 inches tall
