-Kibblewhite Cylinder Head Studs
-Kibblewhite Cylinder Head Nuts (Nuts use a 12mm 12-point socket)
-Kibblewhite Cylinder Head Washers
No Drilling or Tapping is required to install this Stud Kit.
This Kit replaces the OEM Bolts that are known to fail and stretch, especially on high compression or big bore engine builds. Studs and Nuts are made of 180000 PSI High Strength Heat Treated Steel. Studs and Nuts have rolled treads, which provides the highest strength threads possible. Head Studs are designed to be torqued to 35 ft / lbs, which provides an increase in head gasket clamping load compared to stock. This allows for better head gasket life, etc. without having to worry about the OEM Yamaha Head Bolts stretching and failing. No need to replace these during every rebuild, as they are not torque to yield like the OEM Bolts.
These Cylinder Head Studs are a must for any high compression, big bore, or other built engine applications, and are highly recommended on stock engine rebuilds.
