Yoshifumi Kondo, a poet of animation who supported many of Studio Ghibli's masterpieces, including "Grave of the Fireflies," "Omohide Poroporo" as character designer and animation director, "Ears to the Past" director, and "Princess Mononoke" animation director. He passed away at the age of only 47, but over the course of five years, he drew a series of light-filled moments of children and people.

A heartwarming collection of sketches by Yoshifumi Kondo, the animator behind the works of Isao Takahata and Hayao Miyazaki. The people warmly and vividly depicted in colored pencil, and the author's comments accompanying the sketches remind us of something that people today have forgotten.
