>Offered here is an old and original 1991-dated SHEILA E. Warner Brothers Records postcard promo for her new record release Sex Cymbal!! Please see both photos, as they are an important part of my description. I acquired this rather scarce & obscure postcard from a former local record store owner who had amassed many record company promotional items such as the card offered here; I don't believe the card was ever offered for sale to the general public. This vintage postcard measures 6" x 4", and features a beautiful sepia-toned image of percussionist Sheila E. The postcard's reverse promotes her new album, accompanied by the catchy slogan "Ain't Nothin' Hotter Than The 'E' Spot"

She began her career in the mid-1970's as a percussionist and singer for The George Duke Band. Sheila E. attained solo success after leaving the band with her critically acclaimed debut album "The Glamorous Life". Sheila E. met the musician Prince at a concert in 1977, and eventually joined forces with him during the Purple Rain recording sessions.
