Publisher: Rupert Hart-Davis, 1951 first edition. This is the first British printing of the Martian Chronicles, with slightly different contents to the American first edition. Grey hardback with titles in silver on the spine. Good condition, with some sunning to the binding, foxing to the endpapers some scattered foxing to the closed page edges, and a few spots to pages, but mainly clean. The dust jacket has its original price of 12s 6d. It has edge wear, tanning, chipping and a short closed tear, also a piece lost from the front panel. Please see the photos.
