How to measure 
Example 2.2mm / 8mm 2.2mm is the interior bore of the replacement tip which fits over the rod. (This should be just a fraction bigger than the outside diameter of your rod tip, to allow for some glue) 8mm is the inside measurement of the ceramic ring liner (The eye hole).
