Adapters that use a Wi-Fi card in a PCI-Express 1X slot require a USB cable to communicate Bluetooth data, but this cable is compatible with the specially shaped USB port on the Mac Pro's motherboard.
The Bluetooth data cable (USB) can be connected inside the chassis, so there is no need to remove the PCIe slot cover or otherwise connect it to the rear USB port.
Windows users can use the internal USB port, but Mac Pro Mid 2012, Mid 2010, and Early 2009 users cannot use the USB cable that comes with a standard PCIe adapter because of the special shape of the internal USB port.
Make sure that the shape matches the socket of the adapter card you own.
Claims that the shape of the terminal does not match the socket after you purchase will not be accepted.
If Bluetooth does not turn on, the Bluetooth data cable may not be securely fastened. Check if the connector is firmly attached.

How to enable Handoff in Mojave ---
  1. Turn on the Mac ---> Press Command + Option + R simultaneously to initiate recovery mode
  2. Utilities menu ---> Disable SIP in Terminal (search for keywords such as "Mac SIP Disabled")
  3. Start the Mac normally and launch Terminal.app. Search "MacRumors forum" on Google ---> Find thread title "Help with Handoff on cMP 5,1?". ---> Enter the # 5 code for that thread in Terminal.app.
  4. Press the return key and you will be prompted for the system password. Enter the password and exit Terminal.app.
  5. Reboot in recovery mode and enable SIP in Terminal.
  6. Restart Mac and iOS devices (enable handoff if not already enabled). If not, sign out on both devices and sign into iCloud)
