This large 10 1/2 by 17 3/4 inch document is a passenger report for the Sullivan Railway Company from the Charlestown, Vermont Station for the 6 days ending on November 27, 1852. The Sullivan Railway Company was incorporated in 1846, and eventually ran from Windsor to Bellows' Falls Vermont. It was sold to bondholders to settle its debts in 1866 and became the Sullivan County Railroad - more mergers and name changes followed after that. The form was filled out by Station Agent Geo. H. Abbott. It lists tickets charged to the agent, and those sold and unsold with amount and price, all written in the boxes for individual stations on the Sullivan Road, and Roads below and above it. He turned in $127.70 with this report. The form is easier to read than my photos suggest. It has one horizontal fold, and 3 vertical folds. Some light soiling, fading on fold lines.
