This is a rare single page advertising handbill (flyer) promoting the opening of the Original West End production of the DUDLEY MOORE and PETER COOK comedy with music "BEHIND THE FRIDGE" at the Cambridge Theatre in London on November 21st, 1972. (The production opened November 21st, 1972 at the Cambridge Theatre and ran for nine months. The production would be retitled "GOOD EVENING" before opening November 14th, 1973 at New York's Plymouth Theatre, where it would run for 438 performances.) ..... This single page, two-sided handbill measures 5 1/2" X 8 3/4" inches and includes a photo of the two stars and production credits on the front and performance times and the opening date on the backside ..... CONDITION: With the exception of light creasing at the top edge, this handbill is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
