Offered here is a vintage can made of tin or steel. It was made just like an old "flat top" style beer can. The top has been punched open with a "church key" can opener. It reads: "BARDAHL...OUTBOARD MOTOR OIL Recommended For Lubrication Of CHAIN SAWS, POWER MOWERS...12 FL. OZ. U.S...BARDAHL OIL COMPANY ST. LOUIS 20, MO...Seattle 7, Washington." It does not have a date, but the address uses the old 2-digit Postal Code which was mostly abandoned with the introduction of the 5-digit Zip Code, in 1963. I think this was made in the 1950's - give or take. The can grades POOR to FAIR. (Please read the description, see the pictures, and make your own grade.) The can has significant RUST scattered here & there. (The pictures tell the story.) It still displays fairly well, but condition freaks will be disappointed. It is guaranteed to be old & original - made before 1964 - or your money back.
