How to measure
Example 2.2mm / 8mm
The first measurement (2.2mm) is the interior bore of the replacement tip which fits over the rod. (This should be just a fraction bigger than the outside diameter of your rod tip, to allow for some glue)
The second measurement (8mm) is the inside measurement of the ceramic ring liner (The eye hole)
The measurements do vary very slightly, as I have measured by hand.
