Small pair of antique candle sticks / holders

Heavy bronze with a copper tone 

they were cast in one piece 

Square bases - very simple floral decor

no maker's name that I can find

Hard to determine the era - Deco? Art Nouveau? Arts & Crafts?

Much of the gilt is worn away

This is from a huge collection of items from my father's shop in Brooklyn which closed several decades ago. "Old Brassware" was located on Coney Island Ave near Dorchester Rd. in Flatbush and my father also bought large amounts of architectural metal from old NYC buildings as they were torn down or renovated during the 1960s and 70s.
