Vintage ~ How to FIX SMALL ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES by Robert Hertzberg
This was printed in 1977 but I think it must have been a re-release of an earlier edition as all the appliances in the black and white pictures look like they are from the 1950-1960s. It has yellowed a little with age and has a few small stains on the edges. The cover comes laminated from the printer. The lamination has some vertical creases on both the front and back cover. These lamination creases are noticeable in person but are very hard to see in the front cover picture I have provided. I didn't see any writing inside. Paperback - 112 Pages - about 8-3/8" x 5-1/2".
If you have a vintage small appliance, this book may of be of limited help for you. It is a beginners guide and really assumes that you know nothing and have no tools.
The value in this book is the 1950's view of appliances and society at that time, The first section shows the revolutionary new appliance which need NO tools to disassemble and explains how this new generation of appliances can EVEN be repaired by a woman! It is a very funny read :)
