Magneton (Japanese: レアコイル Rarecoil) is a dual-type Electric/Steel Pokémon introduced in Generation I. Prior to Generation II, it was a pure Electric-type Pokémon. It evolves from Magnemite starting at level 30 and evolves into Magnezone when leveled up in a special magnetic field (Generations IV to VII) or when exposed to a Thunder Stone (Generation VIII).
