This is another cover as related to the January 10 & 11, 1934 Mass Hawaii Flight Cover & quite rare. On the same day as the famed 1st Mass Hawaii by VP-10, a secondary flight by VP-8 was flown from Pearl Harbor Hawaii to Midway Atoll. As the one flight came in from the West Coast another was sent out to Midway and returned to Pearl Harbor Hawaii. All done simultaneously to the 1st Mass California to Hawaii flight done the same day. As seen, it has a sketched map on the back with explanation. Signed with Mail Clerk's initials on the front..
This cover is as near to mint as can be expected. Those vertical lines seen on the front of the cover are the result of the map having been drawn on the back side of the cover.
This particular cover comes from one of the original 1929 pilot hire on with Hawaiian Airline and or then Inter Island Airways LTD.
