HNBR O-Rings (Hydrogenated Nitrile Butadiene
Rubber)
HNBR o-rings and seals offer resistance to
aggressive chemical media at a level comparable
with NBR seals,
but with the added advantage of enhanced
stability with exposure to heat and oxidation.
It is also
highly durable and demonstrates improve abrasion
resistance.
HNBR seals are used extensively in applications
where there is continuous exposure to fuels, oil
and aggressive chemicals at elevated
temperatures. The advantage of HNBR seals lies
in its
resilience, and its ability to retain its
physical and mechanical properties over its
service life.
Service temperature for HNBR seals typically
range from -40° to 150°C, and minimal
degradation is
observed over extended periods in service.
