The fabric is made from spun silk. the silkworms that created the silk were not killed. Jacquard Spun silk is made from these broken cocoons. The resulting short strands of silk are spun together in a manner similar to cotton or wool. The fabric may feel somewhat like cotton, but they are 100% pure silk.
