Handcrafted from solid copper

Entirely finely engraved with pattern shapes

This elegant vases are embellished with floral motifs and birds inscriptions, Islamic ornamentation design

A superb antique Persian copper pair of vases engraved in relief with birds  set amidst scrolling flowering stems and dating from the 19th century . Each vase stands on a narrow rounded flat base, , narrow neck and trumpet opening with an applied edge. The body of the vases are etched in relief with a detailed pattern of birds set amidst flowering stems with petal shaped panel border around the upper and lower body  

Fine antique condition with a beautiful patina of age, each vase has a tiny dent on one side; otherwise they are in excellent condition 

Measures approx:  H: 7"/17.78 cm; & 5.6"/ 14.22 cm, Weight: 0.43 lb/ 196 g & 0.40 lb/ 182 g

This piece has been cleaned but not polished
