Vintage Wood Box With Lid And Leather Strap 10”. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.

Not sure of the exact age or origin of this box. It was my grandfathers and I am 65 years old. It appears that the strap was reattached with new screws?

Size is 10 inches long and 3 3/4 inches deep.
