She was starring in the ten-week, National Tour engagement of the WILLIAM GIBSON play "THE MIRACLE WORKER" at the Erlanger Theatre in Chicago, Illinois. (The production opened October 19th, 1959 at the Playhouse Theatre in New York City and ran for 719 performances while simultaneously playing on the road.) .....
