(The London production, now the longest-running musical in West End history, opened at the Barbican Centre on September 28th, 1985, moved to the Palace Theatre on December 4th, 1985 and transferred to the Queen's Theatre on April 1st, 2004 where it is still playing.) ..... The concert version starred STEVE BALSAMO in the title role and featured FRED JOHANSON, KERRY ELLIS, BARRY JAMES, CHRIS HOLLAND, PETE GALLAGHER and RAIN KARIMLOO with the West End Singers ..... DETAILS: Advertising handbills and heralds were distributed or inserted into the playbills of other productions to help generate ticket sales for upcoming shows and events. This single page, two-sided handbill measures 5 7/8" X 8 1/4" inches and includes wonderful graphics, promotional text, production credits, partial cast lists, ticket prices and booking information ..... CONDITION: With the exception of light edge wear, this rare flyer is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
